Jaume Plensa
Composite Imaging recommend The Jaume Plensa Exhibition: Don’t miss the Jaume Plensa exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. It runs until 25th September 2011. We first saw this artist’s work last year in Nice and were overwhelmed by the sheer scale and also the ‘fun’ and the ‘interactive’ elements that made us want to see more. The sculpture Park are currently displaying new and recent work by Jaume Plensa who uses universal themes in his work such as love, memory, language and despair. The exhibition includes large illuminated sculptures in the landscape and amazing alabaster heads and a 50-metre curtain of poetry made of suspended steel letters, as part of the indoor displays of the work. Go and see it, you won’t be disappointed.
